Numbers may form the backbone of a business, but people make or break its foundation. Fascinated by both, Sarah studied accounting and psychology at Texas A&M University before starting her career as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Growing up playing a variety of team sports, she is driven by both the culture and competition created by effective team dynamics, which drew her to start her career as an auditor. Now at Archetype, Sarah loves working with a team that is passionate about finding ways to serve and support families more effectively.
At Archetype, we believe strongly in narrative before numbers – that the values you possess should inform the use of your possessions. Sarah helps clients navigate the x’s and o’s of their personal finances and capture the essence of their “why” – the purposes and values that fuel their decision making as it pertains to the stewardship of their wealth. Her role involves walking with couples through a unique process that helps lift these values through story-telling and conversation.
Outside of work, Sarah is actively involved in her church and enjoys hosting people for dinner on the weekends. Though never a professional (or amateur) dancer herself, she appreciates the beauty and athleticism of dance and frequents the Houston ballet.
